Bobby Bakers BobCat Ultralight Aircraft

Ultralight Aircraft Magazine -
BobCat/SuperCat - The Bobcat, was designed by Bobby Baker and was 1st shown at Sun N Fun, Lakeland Florida in 1984.

The Bobcat/SuperCat is a plans built aircraft.

They use plywood bulkheads, spruce longerons, with Styrofoam ribs, and was covered in standard aircraft covering materials.

The wood construction results in a very strong yet light weight aircraft. The BobCat is light enough to be a part 103 ultralight aircraft, while the SuperCat which was a stronger and heavier aircraft, using a variety of heavier engines fits into the experimental amateur built aircraft category.
